Marti McRobertz at Madcity Music Mirror was very good to me. He must have recognized a lost soul (and some cheap talent) and tried to help me with some direction. The Mirror moved more into mainstream publishing and away from the somewhat bizarre vehicle for self expression it was at birth, becoming linked with Pepperhead (recording) Studios.

I was spending so much time in bars with the band Flak I would go weeks without seeing the morning. There's a different kind of human that keeps those vampiric hours.
